Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Fleet Checker mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"). By using Fleet Checker, you agree to these Terms.

1. Account Registration

To use Fleet Checker, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

2. Subscription and Payments

Fleet Checker offers subscription-based pricing:

Owner/Fleet Manager subscription: A monthly fee for dashboard and management access.
Per-vehicle fee: A weekly fee for each vehicle added to your fleet.
Driver accounts: Free of charge.

Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store. All payments are subject to Apple's terms and conditions. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device settings.

A free trial period may be offered to new users. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically begin.

3. Use of the Service

Fleet Checker is designed to assist with vehicle inspection record-keeping. You agree to:

Provide accurate vehicle and inspection information
Use the Service only for lawful purposes
Not attempt to reverse-engineer or modify the application
Not share your account credentials with unauthorized parties

4. Data and Records

Inspection records, vehicle data, and photos uploaded through Fleet Checker are stored securely using Firebase cloud services. While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, you acknowledge that no system is completely secure.

Fleet Checker is a record-keeping tool. It does not replace professional vehicle safety assessments or official compliance certifications required by law.

5. Limitation of Liability

Fleet Checker is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

Any vehicle safety issues not detected through the app
Data loss due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control
Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding any claim.

6. Termination

You may stop using Fleet Checker at any time by cancelling your subscription. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
